What do Dan Marino and Chris Fetter both have in common? They were both born in the great state of Pennsylvania! Chris, who is now a Floridian, was instantly drawn to the Miami Dolphins and has been a fan since the age of five. This Father of one, is dedicated to providing fans with reliable, truthful, and unbiased news that would make even Hall of Fame coach, Don Shula a fan again.

ashley_andersonAshley Anderson

Born and raised in the great state of Maryland, Ashley didn’t have a team to cheer for until the Ravens moved to Baltimore when she was eight years old. From there, she fell in love with football, and her passion has steadily grown ever since. Ashley began her journalism career as a team writer for FirstStopFantasy.com covering the Baltimore Ravens. Now happily married to a Dolphins fan, Ashley is excited to share the ins and outs of one of the oldest, proudest organizations in the NFL.

chrisChris H. Borei

Chris lives in Duncan, South Carolina home to the largest BMW manufacturing plant in North America.  Chris majored in English and Music at North Greenville College & Presbyterian College, where he developed a love for writing and journalism.  He has been a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan since he was just four years old despite growing up in a family full of Atlanta Falcons fans.  Chris has helped launch two different Miami Dolphins fan groups on Facebook that now host over 5,000 members combined.  He served as a Dolphins content writer and editor for The Penalty Flag sports site. Chris is a life-long Miami Dolphins/NFL supporter, and is a proud member of Dolphins Sideline Report.

Ryan Moreland, was born and raised in Western Maryland. Ryan has always loved football, and in college, he fell in love with writing. He now currently resides in Athens, Ohio. He is a U.S. Army veteran and a father of a 4 year old son.

A native of central Illinois, Ryan is currently finishing up his bachelors degree in economics at the University of Illinois. In addition, Ryan currently writes multiple weekly fantasy football columns for FirstStopFantasy.com. After two years of fantasy analysis, Ryan is ready to dive in to team writing which brings him to Dolphins Sideline Report.

 Spencer Taylor

Spencer has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing, with extended studies in Nonfiction. He studied under prolific sports writer, Rus Bradburd, author of Forty Minutes of Hell: The Extraordinary Life of Nolan Richardson. Spencer also runs the New Mexico Dolphin fan-club (Dolphinatics New Mexico) where he produced and hosted frequent podcasts. Spencer has been teaching English at New Mexico State University for 9 semesters. He also produced and hosted the show Travailer Waves on KRUX broadcast radio, a show dedicated to interviewing important arts, entertainment, and athletic figures in the Las Cruces community.

matt_singermanMatthew Singerman

Matthew was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His passion for the NFL and Miami Dolphins derives from a father who loves sports, and a deep appreciation for one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time (Dan Marino). Matthew’s two biggest loves in life have always been the Toronto Maple Leafs and Miami Dolphins. Matthew intends to be real, unbiased, blunt, and to the point.

Ian Doelling

Ian Doelling is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Sport Management at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. After obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Massachusetts, Ian relocated to South Florida to finish a four year degree. He is working full time while in school and hopes to work with the Miami Dolphins in the future.

Alyssa Gilroy

Alyssa was born in Niskayuna, New York. Her dad influenced her sports teams of choice and she is sure glad he did. The Miami Dolphins has been her favorite football team growing up. Alyssa grew up watching games and cheering on Miami with him. She was in English honors through high school and plans to major in English Lit. in college. Alyssa has always loved writing and hopes to make a career out of it in the future.

Mark Morales- Smith

Mark was born and raised in New Jersey. He’s a former scout and is trained to break down film. A fan of the Phins and The University of Miami since aroud 1990. Prior to beginning his career as a writer, he was an amateur MMA fighter before being sidelined due to injuries. He’s also a father of a beautiful princess and her three brothers. While sports and family consume about 99 percent of his life, he’s also an enthusiast of ToeJam and Earl, Mr. Pibb and The Walking Dead. He intends to produce honest and insightful articles covering the Dolphins both on and off the field.

Peter DiPaola

Peter was born and raised in Connecticut and now currently resides in Henderson, NV and works in banking. Peter realized his passion for sports writing while in college and has continued to work on that since obtaining his bachelors in December of 2012. He is a football fan and loves to write and talk about sports, he also enjoys hiking and spending time outside. Peter is an avid New England Patriots fan and is willing to talk about any football team because of his love for the game.

Evan Slade

Born the son of a football coach, Evan learned to read offenses and defenses while most children his age were reading Dr. Seuss books. He quite literally grew up on the gridiron playing the game from Pop Warner up to the collegiate NCAA level. His lifelong love affair with football led him to coaching and writing about the sport after his playing days ended. With degrees in Communications and History from Fairmont State University and the University of Ottawa combined with a ‘Rainman’ like ability to digest and process NFL stats, he uses his savant like skills to write for various online football publications. Most recently Evan was a staff writer for FirstStopFantasy.com contributing both NFL and Fantasy Football based articles. He is also the Editor and Chief of the recently launched sports & entertainment website BobTanney.com. Evan’s unbiased and entertaining writing style make all of his articles a must read for any and every football fan.

Asa Hedstrom

Asa was born and raised in Central Florida but became a hardcore Dolphins fan despite living around Buccaneer fans. Asa began a career as a warehouse worker after high school but after a few years he realized that he wanted to continue to build his skills in writing and began his college career in 2013. Asa is in his senior year at the University of South Florida majoring in mass communications with a focus in magazine journalism. Asa has reported on high school football for the Tampa Tribune and is a contributor for the NFL section of GiveMeSport.com. Asa enjoys and cherishes being a writer for Dolphins Sideline Report and looks to provide insightful and unbiased articles about the Dolphins and he also encourages readers to take part in the conversation.
